We're excited to be presenting Open Mic Night@The Marketplace, a series of open-mic nights in June, July and August at The Marketplace at Guilford Food Center. They'll take place from 7-9 p.m. on Fridays June 23, July 28 and August 25 to benefit the 2023 GreenStage Guilford Live Arts festival. Performing is free. To guarantee a slot, use our online signup form. Admission is by freewill donation at the door, with all donations going to the festival. There's a full bar (21+ only, ID required), and up-and-coming celebrity bartender Weston will be whipping up a new signature cocktail every night. Small-plate meals available for purchase. Bigger appetite? Come early for dinner!
This event is family friendly; ID required for the bar. *Due to space constraints, we regret that we are unable to accommodate full bands or dance pieces at this time.* Performers are responsible for bringing any instruments, props and music needed. We will have a system available to play your music - preferably to send to the DJ ahead of time - but also can use a flash drive and possibly music from your phone depending upon model. We cannot guarantee equipment will play your items so if you would like to bring your own, that is fine. Please limit your act to 5 - 7 minutes so there is room for anyone who would like to participate.
