For the third time, the Guilford Fund for Education (GFFE) has invested in GreenStage Guilford, granting the festival $7,600 to support this year's educational programming. The GFFE's grant will fund public performance/workshops in Puerto Rican Bomba music and dance, Middle Eastern dance, Turkmen's music and stories, Indian Bharanatyam dance and Ukrainian choral singing; plus in-school Guilford Public Schools workshops and master classes in music improvisation, pairing music with visual imagery, vocal technique, choral singing and spoken word performance. We're grateful for the recognition and support that GFFE has given to the creative learning experiences that we offer; these are central to the festival's, and we're honored to have the GFFE as on ongoing partner in this endeavor.
