Please join us in welcoming Barbara Shulman—artist, gallery owner, entrepreneur, healer, networker extraordinaire and one of the most joyful people we know—as the newest member of our board of directors. Barbara’s official title is Director of Community Outreach, but between us chickens, we’ll think of her as Directrix of Fun. She’ll be working to raise community awareness of GreenStage, enlist volunteers, produce events, hook us up with programming and other partners, and otherwise inject creativity, playfulness and laughter in everything we do.
For 20 years Barbara owned and ran BSK Design, an art gallery, gift shop and arts hub in downtown Guilford, initially in the Quonset hut on Church Street and later in the former Greene Gallery on Whitfield Street. She’s a trained physical therapist who since 2012, as a Forgiveness Practitioner, has provided therapeutic guidance to help clients grapple with life’s adversities and improve their self-awareness, emotional well-being and resilience. Welcome aboard, Punkin!
