Air Temple Arts, the aerial dance, circus and movement studio that enthralled audiences with its aerial rig performance at the 2019 festival, will be back this year to demonstrate and teach circus skills. The show is scheduled for Saturday, September 23, at 12:30 p.m. on the Guilford Green.
This interactive event for people of all ages is part of the festival’s educational programming, meant to introduce audiences to new and different skills, art forms, genres and cultures. The workshop will feature individual and partnering exercises derived from circus and aerial performance. Participants will learn juggling and hoop work while exploring artistic expression and collaboration through the movement language of circus arts.
