Who We Are:
We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created in 2017 as the Guilford Performing Arts Festival to present high-quality live arts, spotlight diverse voices and artistic genres, commission and premiere new work, offer hands-on performing arts education and experience, and to use the arts to inspire and empower communities of need. Our chief event is a biennial performing arts festival in Guilford, Connecticut (the next one is scheduled for August 2025). We also present other events throughout the year, from open-mic nights to theatrical and storytelling performances to live concerts—typically in collaboration with other arts and cultural organizations.
Partnerships:
Our 2025 Festival and feeder events involve collaboration with 19 different organizations, 13 of them in our hometown of Guilford. Working in collaboration with these entities enriches our mutual programming and broadens our audiences, brings visibility to GreenStage, promotes area businesses and nonprofits, and fosters a shared sense of community within and beyond town borders.
